The very talented Andrio Abero (formerly 33rpm) has updated with a new website. There is not a lot of new work on the site but the big bonus is that the work is now cross referenced in a much easier-access way. The guy is just a great designer and his work never fails to inspire.

crazy. . . i just visited his site like last week to check out how he had organized his thumbnails (recalling that I liked his layout). . .i’ve found that there are a lot of people that do them similarly and was curious how he addressed empty spaces, in sections where he didn’t have enough work to fill the line. Long story short, his old site was still up. I’m glad to stumble on the update, I’ll be studying this layout as I’m sure it’s just as nice.

Oh, and what’s his new typeface called? Is it an Emigre font?

Thanks for the post. Trevor, the 33rpm was all html, so in the case of empty spaces it was just a matter of defining the table width. Yes, it’s very table heavy. The new site is much different. I wanted bigger thumbnail images and more detail views. Plus the new site has a custom CMS for easier sorting, searching, and updating. The font is called Museo and I got it from http://www.myfonts.com. A lot of people give it so much flack, but I think it’s nice and unique.
