Neil Blomkamp and Peter Jackson have teamed up for the upcoming film District 9. Wow, does it look amazing. I cannot wait to see this. I didn’t even know about it until today.

No Christopher, no. It does not look amazing.
Sraight to tape quality in my belly feeling here. Maybe if you put the Omega-Code intersected triangles over the movie I might go see it though.

Really? Peter Jackson hasn’t really disappointed yet so far. I think it looks pretty interesting. Not the standard sci-fi fair.
For such a hater, you seem to visit frequently. It always gives me a laugh. Always good to get a dissenting opinion. Someone has to call BS from the sidelines.
I’m holding out hope for the movie. though. I am still a big fan of Peter Jackson. Lord of the Rings still gives him a get out of jail free card in my book.

For the record by the way, if we want to get into honest opinions here, I thought the new Wolverine movie looked absolutely awful from the trailer. I still do. I had zero interest in seeing it. I love Hugh Jackman and still think The Fountain was brilliant which makes it even sadder to see Jackman getting sucked into dragging the Wolverine role out just to rake money in for the studio. I don’t think I will even bother renting it when it comes out on DVD. That’s just my opinion on that flick.

Peter Jackson didn’t direct it he only produced it and Neil Blombkamp, apart from some ads he directed his stuff is overhyped sci-fi crap. I have the same feelings for Joe Kosinski. These two all can do is put some sci-fi vfx bullshit and call it a story. Not as bad as Michael Bay yet though.

Yeah, I realize Jackson didn’t direct it himself. I guess I should have stated that in the post.
My jury is still out though. I love sci-fi when it’s done right.
Yeah, Transformers was the last Michael Bay movie I will ever watch. I was so pissed after watching that I didn’t ever want to see another one of his movies. Ditto on Bay.

Well, I hate to piss in the soup but this movie is receiving rave reviews so far.
