I knew that looked familiar. It’s the ending to “Mission to Mars” – remember how horrible that movie was.
August 7th, 2009 at 8:56 am
Never seen it. Just thought it was a cool gif and nothing else.
August 7th, 2009 at 10:18 am
I was the most compelling sequence of imagery in the whole movie.
Funny I thought the four of us saw it at the World Twin back in the day.
August 7th, 2009 at 11:44 am
World Twin. Those were the days. Big time. I think some guy (Bokenkamp) who is a director/writer actually bought that theater and is traveling back and forth between Nebraska and LA.
August 7th, 2009 at 12:05 pm
its really cool
August 7th, 2009 at 12:52 pm
John BokenKamp has actually moved to Kearney and is building a new house and settling down there. Writing and sending them to HW. Sounds like he thought it would be a better place to raise kids. It’s cool to see somebody do that, leave a place become successful and then move back and save a landmark. I’d never do it, but good on him.

It is awesome but inaccurate. Elephants didn’t evolve from Brontosaurus.
August 7th, 2009 at 8:34 pm
I think it’s kind of obviously inaccurate. I would guess it’s just meant to be more symbolic of evolution. I didn’t post it as an educational example, I posted it because I thought it was a really cool animated gif.

SU user hereee. I thought it was okay.. got bored halfway through but the ending with the stars made up for it
January 12th, 2010 at 7:28 pm
this is pretty dumb, actually. (my thoughts exactly, christopher)
January 12th, 2010 at 9:50 pm
It’s an animated gif pulled from a movie. I don’t know if it’s an occasion that calls for an intense amount of scrutiny or is even really worth sitting around and criticizing. Who cares. It’s meant to be a jolt of visual fun. Mission accomplished. Sometimes fun is dumb.
January 13th, 2010 at 10:04 pm
All this does is show how infantile the idea of evolution is and what a cop out on science it is.
January 14th, 2010 at 1:17 am
Lol I went to this page with StumbleUpon. Nice animation actually. And the movie was quite nice…

When I was little I thought the past, and most of France, were in black and white. For a split second, my inner child went YES! I KNEW IT! on seeing this gif.

funny thing is i just finished watching mission to mars on TV.
December 12th, 2010 at 9:33 pm
It’s really not even remotely representative of evolution as soon as dinosaurs come into play; it implies that the woolly mammoth derived from dinosaurs. That’s just baby school.

Much like Safari, the Camera app, the App Store and i – Pod, Game Center has no option to be
deleted when editing your apps. At the same time, web games seemed
like the future of gaming, and we wanted to be a part of it.

While some are great fans of Motorbike games, others love to pay
games where a lot of strategy comes into
play. No two classes are created equally in World of Warcraft and
Zygors leveling guide will pinpoint the most suitable build type
and questing route based upon the class you’re playing. The repetition, infinite lectures, pop quizzes and standardized tests turn lots of folks off and actually discourage people from finding out.
