A coworker reminded me today that a new version of Firefox is out. It’s my web browser of choice and has been for a while now. I used to work as an actioncript developer and I have designed a few websites in my day. Firefox was always the best browser in terms of development and it still blows Microsoft out of the water. So if you have yet to experience Firefox, do yourself a favor and download it now. They are trying to set a new world record today for the most downloads in a single day. It will be interesting to see if they succeed.

Okay, I’m going to rag on Firefox a little. I got rid of it because it was stuck in safe mode no matter what I erased or did, so I just completely got rid of Firefox and went back to regular Explorer. Even when I erased the user profile data and re-downloaded it, it was still stuck in safe mode. Well I downloaded this new version of Firefox a few hours ago and it’s really fast and the internet actually looks more clear. However, now I can’t get any sound or play videos on the internet. So Firefox has just pissed me off and failed me once again.

Yeah Luke is my brother and he is in film school right now and still working on a PC. I told him he has to get off that thing and get himself a Mac quick. Then he will have the true Firefox experience, not to mention he won’t be ostracized by the film community and girls will be more attracted to him.

Yeah only problem is no one could download it yesterday because the servers were so over loaded. Do they have a record for most downloads of an app in two days??

That particular PC sounds like it has not been taken care of very well.
