Sanderson Bob Studios has kept busy and recently updated with a few new and unusual projects. The studio was founded by Bob Sanderson, a former Central Saint Martins Graduate and Designers Republic Art Director. The nice thing about the studio’s portfolio is that they have managed to keep the ‘art’ securely in place with the ‘direction’.

I believe I have written about Sanderson Bob studio before but there appears to be a few new projects up at the site since I last checked in. All of which are expertly executed and well worth the time to check out for a little dose of design inspiration.

Sanderson Bob calls himself a ‘lone wolf graphic designer’. I can relate to that. He studied at St. Martins and shortly thereafter secured work for a music magazine in Amsterdam. He then went on to do a stint at The Designers Republic (one of my all time favorite agencies). Apparently not happy there, he then moved on to London where he put time in at both Big Active and then Weiden and Kennedy. I didn’t think it was possible for one person to work at almost every agency that I would give my right arm to work for but I guess I was wrong. After this star-studded path, Bob decided to go solo.

Since then he has capped off projects for Nike, Orange and Microsoft. He prefers to do things his own way and he loves what he does. It sounds to me like his lightening is just to hot to be bottled. Good for you Bob, go get ’em.
