Adam Dedman is a 22-year-old designer currently studying graphic design at University College Falmouth in the UK. He already has some really nice typographical work in his portfolio and the illustration above is top shelf interplay between type and image.
There are some nice clean things happening in the portfolio of Alto Works. Alto Works is the online portfolio of the barcelona’s graphic designer Alvaro Torrents, BA in Graphic Design by Elisava School of Design & University of Southampton (UK).
There are some really great artists under the representation of Synergy Art. It’s worth a browse through the collective portfolio for a dose of creative inspiration.
I know I have written about Jody Barton before but I was visiting his site again today and was yet again amazed at the quantity of work on the site. If you have yet to visit, it is still worth checking out for a unique brand of illustration and approach in general to art and illustration.
I know I have seen Alex Williamson’s work somewhere before and maybe I once mentioned it but its better safe than sorry because his site is worth visiting for some really nice illustration work. He’s not afraid of grit and color.
Interesting projects for a variety of mediums showcasing a really wide breadth of talent from young Tab Brown. Keep your eye on him. I don’t even know what to file him under.
05/18 SENDAK PASSES The brilliant author and illustrator Maurice Sendak passed away last week at the age of 83 but will no doubt be remembered for generations to come for his amazing books such as Where the Wild Things Are.
04/12 ZIMMERMAN FACES MURDER In a case we’ve been following closely there is finally what we think is some good news to report. George ZImmerman, the man accused of killing the innocent teenager Trayvon Martin has been taken into custody and charged with second degree murder. At last there is some justice.
12/16 HITCHENS DIES Outspoken author and pundit Christopher Hitchens passed away yesterday at the age of 62 after succombing to a long battle with cancer. His honest and bravado opinion that rarely favored one side versus the other but was instead often a cry for ‘reason’ will be missed.
11/23 BURZYNKSI CLINIC Is there an alternative, non-toxic treatment for cancer? Dr. Stanislaw R. Burzynski seems to think so and has been experiencing higher rate of success than the current accepted practice of treating cancer.
