Peepshow Collective have recently updated their portfolio in a downloadable PDF format for summer/autum 2008 on their news page, its deffinatley worth a download, featuring Luke Best, Chrissie Macdonald and someamazing windows for Saatchi and Saatchi amongst other inspiring image creation.
“Radiohead just released a new video for its song “House of Cards” from the album “In Rainbows”.
No cameras or lights were used. Instead two technologies were used to capture 3D images: Geometric Informatics and Velodyne LIDAR. Geometric Informatics scanning systems produce structured light to capture 3D images at close proximity, while a Velodyne Lidar system that uses multiple lasers is used to capture large environments such as landscapes. In this video, 64 lasers rotating and shooting in a 360 degree radius 900 times per minute produced all the exterior scenes.

Becks beer & YCN have teamed up to run quite an interesting project, artists, designers and illustrators have been invited into the YCN studio to create an art installation to a piece of music. This video struck me in a couple different ways. A: It’s weird as hell but also fascinatingly so. By that I mean, after you get over the initial shock of what you are seeing and trying to interpret it gets your marbles rolling around and makes you start to think and consider what is actually happening. B: The music is great and now I am going to go do my homework and find out more about this band and potentially purchase their album.
