Ever imagine walking down the streets of Paris only to see Vampire Weekend performing as they walk by? How bout being stuck in an elevator as Arcade Fire plays some of their hits?
Imagine no more. La Blogotheque’s got ya covered. Their brilliant Take Away Show showcases some of today’s best bands performing as they wander the streets. People join in and clap, and in some cases entire apartment buildings join in on the chorus (see Architecture in Helsinki).
With 87 bands/artists and counting, there’s something for everybody.
The result? Pure music in it’s rawest state, stripped down and naked, and brilliantly awesome.
